15 Free Printable Menu Planners for Busy Home Managers

Lately, my menu planning has been taking a back seat. I have a list of reasons – work is hectic, life is busy, just too lazy!

But I’m determined to get back on track simply because menu planning is THE easiest and most effective way for us to eat healthy and save money on groceries as well.

So, to motivate and encourage my ‘I-don’t -have-time-to-menu-plan’ self, I set about looking for menu planners that are pretty, functional and best of all ,free!

I love my Organizing Life as Mom menu planners but I just need to switch up my routine a bit and so, found not one, not two, but 15 gorgeous printable menu planners, all for FREE! Yes, I know I sound like a cheesy commercial, sorry! Just so excited **laughing**

Gotta love the Internet and the generous folks online!

Naturally, I had to share these with you, awesome folks, so here are my top picks for 15 free printable menu planners in no particular order of preference:

Note: Please hover and click on the title of the menu plan and NOT the site’s name.

1. A Master Menu Planning Kit by Simple Organized Living

This awesome kit has 7 different menu planners, including two-week planners, four week planners AND a monthly planner. Yes, seriously good stuff by Andrea Dekker, the genius behind this lovely site.

2. Weekly Menu Plan by Organized Home

Cynthia Ewer knows what she’s talking about when she shares her printable menu planner PLUS her menu planner integrated with a shopping list as well. Download and get organized now!

3. Free Weekly and Monthly Menu Planning Printables from Money Saving Mom

I’m a HUGE fan of Crystal’s site and have repeatedly found some great gems there, which I’ve shared many times. Naturally, when I was scouting for free printables, here was one of the first sites I visited and wasn’t disappointed. She has a BUNDLE of menu planners including a Master Menu Customizable Pack which includes 14(that’s right, 14!) menu planner forms.

4. Meal Planning Printable from Holy Spirit Led Homeschooling

Some pretty and practical meal planners here including weekly and monthly options.  On a side note, I was thrilled to have found Jamerrill’s lovely site since she has some great free and frugal resources for home managers and homeschoolers.

5. Free Menu Planning Downloads by MommyTracked

This lovely site has some great free printables and downloads, including, of course, The Eat Sheet which is their version of a printable weekly menu planner and grocery list.

6. Free Meal Planners from About.com

In line with what I believe, ‘plan meals to save money’, the Frugal Living section of About.com, offers you some really cool menu planners to choose from. You can opt to print them out in either color or black and white. Best part, it offers you a monthly meal planning calendar to chart out 30 days of breakfasts, lunches and dinners!

7. Seasonal Menu Planners by Heavenly Homemakers

These are really different from the ones listed here in the sense that the menu plans are organized according to season –summer, spring, fall and winter. She also has an Everyday planner and a Christmastime planner Fun, isn’t it?

8. Free Printable Menu Planners and Grocery Lists from Delish

These classic, simple yet stylish planners come with and without the shopping list integration and for those of you, who like their weeks to start on Sunday, you have a Sunday start menu planner as well.

9. Weekly Meal Planner Printable from Modern Style Mama

Like pink? You’ll love this sweet planner that also has space for you to jot down what produce, dairy and other groceries you need.

10. Colorful Weekly Planners from Artsy Fartsy Mama

Lindsay’s planner is both a weekly planner AND a meal planner. It is quite neat since you can plan your week AND the dinners in one go.

11. This Week for Dinner from Thirty Handmade Days

Colorful, bright and easy-to-use dinner planning sheets from Mique and her team. She also has a monthly version, should you want that.

12. Editable Monthly Menu Planner from No Ordinary Moments

If printing out a planner is NOT your thing, you’ll love this editable menu planner that has days of the week outlined but not the meals, so you can customize it to suit your family.

This is the one I will be using this month since I like to plan out Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner AND snacks for the week.

13. Menu Planning Form from The Project Girl

Another awesome, classic-looking menu planner that helps you map out ALL 3 meals and not just dinner.

14. Meal Planner from Around Here

Nice, retro-looking planner that  helps you plan dinners for the week and also has a small box to make notes for any baked dishes.

15. Sweet Menu Plans from picklebums

Finally, I love the picklebums blog and enjoy following Kate on Facebook as well {gosh, that does make me sound stalker-ish!}. Any way, she, too, has weekly, fortnightly and monthly menu plans. Download the monthly one here. What sets hers apart is that it is very easy to customize it AND add in notes about any regular activities that you have scheduled so that you can planner dinner accordingly.
