Bringing the World Closer Through Music: A Review and Giveaway of Daria’s Music CDs for Kids

Music for Toddlers

Now that Manini is a little over 3 years, we’re experimenting with different kinds of books and music. You know, not just rhymes but real songs with real words that mean something. So, when Daria approached me with a review request for her CDs, I jumped with excitement.

 Here’s why:

Music for Kids that Has Meaning and Purpose

Empowering Children Through Music

Don’t get me wrong, I love singing classic and new nursery rhymes with Manini but as she’s growing I want her to experience differences in culture, learn about tolerance and absorb the immense beauty that this world has to offer. Yeah, I know she’s only 3 but one can start early, right? So, what I loved about Daria’s music for children is that it’s not all candyfloss and cuteness. It’s got meaning, depth and has the wonderful ability of exposing young children to different cultures. All from one little CD.

Toddler Music That Grown-Ups Enjoy

Since Daria’s music is drawn from folk music and cultural songs, it is something that even you and I enjoy and relate to. In fact, I have one of the CDs – Beautiful Rainbow World in my laptop

Making Music for Kids

and like listening to it as I work. Some of the songs are so beautiful they’ll bring up that lump in the throat. Ask me how I know that!

Empowering Kids Through Music

The second CD I received is titled I Have a Dream and yes, the title derives from one of the most powerful speeches ever made. The CD includes songs in English, Spanish, Hebrew , Zulu and other languages. Amazing!  All the songs are accompanied with lovely music and words that encourage a child to live his dreams , stay inspired and be empowered.
