Two writing-related posts in a row, I know! But I had to share this with all of you. I’ve always written about how Suite 101 was the first site I started writing for and how I’ve immensely enjoyed being a part of the writer’s community there.
Recently, I got the chance to guest post on Anne Wayman’s About Freelance Writing site (***happy dancing***) and share how writing for Suite 101 makes me money. I talk about how the three pillars of Suite 101 – editors, writers and tutorials enable aspiring writers to learn about SEO, writing for a revenue share network, understand and improve upon the craft of writing for the web. Moreover, being a part of such a diverse and talented community of editors and writers helps you to learn about more writing opportunities, working productively and share best practices. All of this basically translates into more money from writing online. When you’ve built a portfolio and established credibility, it is easier for clients to trust you, pay you what you ask for and come back to you for more work.
So, head on over to Anne’s site to read the entire post and share your Suite stories and experiences in the comments. See you there!
